Edward Christopher Sheeran o mejor conocido como Ed Sheeran, nació el 17 de febrero  de 1991 en Yorkshire. Desde muy chico empezó a cantar en la iglesia en la que iba mientras que también empieza a tocar guitarra. Para poder seguir su carrera artística tuvo que dejar la escuela e irse a Londres. En el 2011 lanzó su primer álbum llamado “x” el cual tuvo un gran éxito musical en el Reino Unido. Ganó varios premios con este álbum algunos de ellos son Grammys.  El sencillo “Thinking Out Loud” le valió los premios canción del año y mejor interpretación vocal pop solista en la edición 58 de los Premios Grammy.

La canción “Photograph” fue incluida en el álbum “x” y fue lanzada en el 20 de junio del 2014. Su genero es pop rock como casi todas las canciones que el hace, fue influenciada por la música country y soft rock. Algunos de los premios que esta canción ha ganado han sido el Premio Brit al mejor videoclip británico, iHeartRadio Music Award a la mejor letra, entre otros. En febrero del 2013, Ed toco un demo de la canción en una estación de radio alemana sin ser grabada. Después Ed pensó en cambiar de carrera, pero al fin de al cabo se quedó como cantante.

La canción habla de los recuerdos que tenemos grabados y como hay que apreciarlos. Es un tema que yo no había escuchado en una canción y eso la hace muy disfrutable. Te identifica con ella casi inmediatamente después de que la escuchas. En conclusión, esta es una de las mejores canciones que Ed Sheeran ha escrito y que siga teniendo el mismo éxito que tiene.
